A body has been found in the search for missing Ollerton man Stan Shanks – police have revealed.

Mr Shanks’ family have been told about the latest updates in the search.

Nottinghamshire Police said the body was found on Friday morning.

A spokesman said: “The body was discovered in a woods in the Ollerton area this morning.

“The body has yet to be identified but the family of Mr Shanks has been made aware of developments.”
