Notts County manager Kevin Nolan speaking to the press ahead of the Magpies play-off push

Notts County manager Kevin Nolan has urged his players to remain calm ahead of the League 2 Play-Offs.

The Magpies take on Coventry City in the semi-finals after a stellar league season where the club finished fifth.

Nolan said: “The biggest thing was we tried to calm things down and continue with what had been successful.

“We’ve got to make sure that we try and keep to what we do.”

The Magpies boss was relishing the chance to take on his opposite number in the dugout, Mark Robins, who he said had done a fantastic job after Coventry’s relegation last season.

Nolan added: “I’m really looking forward to it and hoping that I can come out on top.”

If County make it through the two-legged tie with Coventry the next stop for the club would be Wembley and the chance of promotion to League 1.
