A 36-year-old has been charged with robbery and burglary following two separate incidents earlier this year.
Daniel McGill, of Carlton Hill, was arrested April 22 following the investigation.
The first incident was a robbery at the Marmion petrol station in St Ann’s on February 16.
The offender entered the petrol station and demanded staff to hand over money from the till.
An unspecified amount of cash was taken and the man left the building.
Then items were taken from Savers on Carlton Hill on April 6 after the front glass door was smashed.
McGill has been remanded to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court later today April 23.
