Three men have been arrested following a robbery which saw a vulnerable man have his money and keys stolen.

The man was attack at around 10.30pm last night In Golf Court Bullwell by a group of men who ran away quickly after the assault.

The victim was on his way to buy essential items when the trio assaulted the man with a flurry of punches and kicks.

The thugs aged between, 17 and 32, were quickly arrested after a search in the area.

Detective Sergeant Nick Wood who lead the investigation said: “This was a horrible incident which saw a vulnerable man being targeted after he went to the shop to buy essential items.

“We have stepped up patrols in the area and we will be offering reassurance to local residents.”

The victim suffered minor injuries.

Nottinghamshire Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information regarding the attack calling 101 quoting incident 813 of May 4 2020.
