A 43-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of offences related to the supply of illegal substances.

The man is suspected of possession with intent to supply class A and class B drugs.

He was taken into custody by Nottinghamshire Police following the successful execution of a warrant.

The warrant was carried out in Station Road in Sutton-in-Ashfield this morning (May 21).

Suspected class A and class B drugs were seized during the operation.

Inspector Mark Dickson said: “We know what a negative impact drugs can have on our communities, which is why we’re committed to carrying out positive enforcement action as we have today.

“I encourage local people to continue to work with us so that we can do everything possible to disrupt those who would look to supply drugs on our streets.”
