Infection rates have risen in every district of Nottinghamshire apart from Gedling and Newark & Sherwood.

Mansfield currently has the highest infection rate.

At the start of May, the area had an infection rate of 18.3 per 100,000 people but latest figures suggest this number has almost doubled and now stands at 30.2.

The biggest rise in infection rate is Ashfield with the area having a relatively low rate of Covid-19 at the start of the month.

The district has seen an increase from 6.3 to 24.2.

Other districts which have suffered a rise in Covid-19 rates are: Ashfield, Bassetlaw, Broxtowe, Mansfield and Rushcliffe.

Nottinghamshire has an average Covid-19 rate of 23.9 per 100,00 people.
