A 24-year-old man has been released on bail after being detained on suspicion of two offences of exposure.
The arrest comes after two incidents in Sutton-in-Ashfield on Monday morning, one at 5.50am in Station Road and one at 7am in Brook Street.
Detectives investigating the reports of a man exposing himself in a car arrested the suspect on Tuesday morning.
Nottinghamshire Police’s Detective Sergeant Amy Revill said: “We are pleased to have made progress in this case and have arrested a suspect as part of our enquiries.
“We take all sexual offences extremely seriously and immediately carried out extensive local enquiries to identify a suspect.
“Whilst taking swift action against suspected offenders we also work to ensure that victims are given any additional support they may need.”
