Notts County will be welcoming Derby County to Meadow Lane for a pre-season friendly this summer.
County will then host York City before their Vanarama National League season commences on Saturday, August 14.
The game will be Derby’s final warm-up match before their Sky Bet Championship season begins.
Both sides will be hoping to use this match as a springboard for domestic success in their upcoming league campaigns.
Notts County will still be saddened by their recent semi-final defeat to Torquay that saw them lose the game 4-2 in extra-time.
While a play-off place was acceptable for new manager Ian Burchnall, the club will be hoping to push for automatic promotion this time around.
Derby are also coming into this game off the back of a disappointing season that saw them survive relegation by the skin of their teeth on the final day of the Championship.
The last time the two sides met competitively was in December 1994 when both sides played in the League Division One.
The fixture will be played on Sunday, August 1, at 1PM – ticket prices are yet to be disclosed.
