The Met Office has updated their yellow warning for thunderstorms to include heavy spells of rain, that may cause flooding.
The rain may be accompanied by thunder and lightning for some.
Areas that flood may see disruption to travel, with potential difficult driving conditions and road closures.
A months worth of rain is possible in some parts of central and eastern England through today. Flooding possible.

The weather may also interfere with public transport, causing delays and cancellations to train and bus services.
The Met Office has warned of a small risk that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly and potential damage to houses with lightning strike.
Other areas included in the weather warning include: Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire and Rutland.
