Community standard club West Bridgford Colts will hold try-outs for their new women’s team on June 27.

The trials will take place from 9am to 11am on Sunday at Regatta Way Sports Ground.

Potential players will have to fill out a contact form in order to have a chance of joining the team.

This includes listing your name, age, preferred playing position and playing history.

Goalkeepers will also have to tell the club their height.

In an advertisement the club listed why players should want to play for them.

“A brand new team.

“UEFA ‘A’ Licence manager.

“Notts girls and Ladies League.

“Training twice a week.

“Ready to attack our first title!”

The club has 250 coaches and admins who work to give as many local children as possible the chance to play football.
