Detective Sergeant Nigel Malik, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “The force and its partners work incredibly hard all-year-round to tackle and reduce knife crime and weapon-enabled violence in our communities.
“Carrying knives ruins lives and just one knife crime can have devastating impacts on so many people.
“That’s why Nottinghamshire Police continues to work tirelessly day-in day-out to tackle the issue, raise awareness of the dangers and prevent people from becoming involved in knife crime in the first place.
“I want to reassure the public that we are continuing to do everything we can as a force to drive down knife crime even further in Nottinghamshire and make it clear that carrying knives will not be tolerated.”
