A city suburb is covered in brilliant bunting bombs as part of an annual arts festival.
The vibrant displays – which you can see in our gallery below – are draped around Sherwood for Sherwood Arts Week (SAW2021).
The bunting bombs have been made by residents knitting, crocheting or sewing.
SWA2021 was founded in 2009 and is a week-long festival which exhibits local art, as well as hosting workshops, talks and other community events taking place.
The week is organised by volunteers within the Sherwood community, to support the local businesses.
Other events taking place alongside the Bunting Bomb this week includes ‘Art in Homes’ and ‘My Sherwood’ Photography project.
