Nottingham Castle is hosting its first event of the year after its reopening on Monday.

The Black Knight Historical will be at the castle recreating themed entertainment which you can also learn from.

The Medical Grand Reopening event will be running from June 24 until June 28.

They will be recreating famous historical characters from monarchs to legendary outlaws as well as archery displays, medieval cookery and daily life.

These Living history displays will take place all day around the Castle grounds, Middle Bailey and near the bandstand.

These events are included with the general admission tickets, which are priced at £13 for an adult, £9.50 for a child and £12 for students which you can book on their website.

The events will run until October, with other themes such as Redcoats and Rebels, Vikings & Anglo Saxons, Tommies & Trenches WW1 and more.
