The NTU Vice-Chancellor has revealed teaching will be in-person where it is “most appropriate”.
Vice-Chancellor Edward Peck said that the university will decide on in-person teaching for Term One of the 2021/22 academic year based on “constraints of any Government guidance.”
Preparations for next year will include students timetables and the support and activities offered to students will be on the assumption social distancing does not need to be in place in the first term.
However, the university have discussed how they need to be “realistic” and how the “last year has shown all of us how rapidly the COVID-19 situation can change.”
In the meantime, the university has urged students to enjoy their summer and book their coronavirus vaccinations.
NTU will be updating students within the next few weeks via their university email.
