Nottingham police are investigating the death of a man found unconscious in Beechdale.
The unknown man was found entangled with a pedal bike at around 11.15am by a 39-year-old man in Robins Wood Road.
After being found, he was later taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre as he suffered a head injury, however he sadly died two days later.
Sergeant Craig Luckett, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “It’s currently unclear how the man came off his bike so we’re appealing to anyone who might have seen a man riding a bicycle in the Beechdale area at around 11.15am on Friday 18 June.
“It’s possible that the victim fell off the bike, had a medical incident, or it could be the result of a collision – we just need to explore all avenues, even if it’s just to rule out whether anyone else was involved.
“We are supporting the family involved who are devastated by their loss.
“We will be carrying out a robust investigation to establish what has happened in this incident.”
