The gig will mark his second appearance in Nottingham, following his sold-out Motorpoint Arena show in January this year.
The Scottish vocalist, who climbed to fame with a series of number one hits, tweeted today (May 3) that he would be touring small venues across the country to host Q&As and sing acoustic sets.
Capaldi also added that the shows are “all supporting local record stores”, with tickets starting as low as £20 and including a copy of the album.
Tickets will go on sale on Friday, May 5.
