British Transport Police are urging potential theft victims to come forward and claim their property.

Officers said a man had been arrested for trespass at Nottingham Railway Station on Friday April 7.

They later discovered a host of items including silver bracelets, a brass serving tray, a Cuban cigar box, stamp collection book gold spoons and other items.

A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “British Transport Police are urging potential victims of crime to claim their stolen property.

“On Friday April 7 at around 5.30pm a man was arrested for trespass at Nottingham Railway Station.

“Once in custody he was found to be wanted by Nottinghamshire Police for burglary and was in possession of silver bracelets, a brass serving tray, a Cuban cigar box, stamp collection book gold spoons and other items that he was unable to account for.

“Although officers have conducted an extensive investigation owners of the items have yet to be traced.
