Local elections are taking place today and it is the first time Photo IDs are mandatory in order to vote.
Some people were unable to vote because of the new regulations.

Would of voted today.But my MOD and Police cleared SIA badge was not allowed as photo https://t.co/a4UO5B9Ca9 letters from council &HMRC and debit cards.Cant afford a new passport. So basically I can't vote as I am too poor.

@GMB i have no photo id i can now not vote im 60 always voted its my rite why should i be told i cant vote thay send me the form i have to pay tax thay know who i am this is back door identification cards
