A relegation six pointer if there has ever been one.

Both teams are not in the best form, with Forest on one win in 5, whilst Southampton are winless in nine.

Should they win comfortably, the Reds could all but send the Saints down on Monday night (May 8).

With four games left, every point counts.

Forest will be looking to improve on their agonising last minute defeat to Brentford last Saturday (April 29), conceding in the 94th minute.

Meanwhile, Southampton were beaten comprehensively by Newcastle last weekend (April 30), going 0-1 up in the first half before shipping three in the second.

Level with Leeds United and Leicester City on 30 points, the Reds are only in the relegation zone on goal difference.

The Foxes travel to Craven Cottage, whilst The Whites travel to the Etihad, leaving the Tricky Trees with the most winnable game of the three.

And with their relegation rivals both playing before them this game week, it will be all in Forest’s hands.

Neco Williams will miss the game after undergoing an operation on his jaw, Scott Mckenna and Chris Wood remain sidelined.

However, Monday night could see the return of Jonjo Shelvey and Jack Colback, whilst Brennan Johnson is expected to feature after receiving a knock last Saturday.

A scintillating night in the spotlights is to come.
