23 High Street, Arnold, could become a six-bedroom HMO

A terrace house in Arnold could become a six-bedroom HMO.

Mr A S Dhami, of Freedom via Property Limited, has applied to Gedling Borough Council to convert 23 High Street into a house of multiple occupation.

The proposals included an extension to the ground floor and a roof extension, both at the back of the property.

The back extension would be three metres long and 3.1 metres wide.

There would be two bedrooms on each floor all with en-suites while all but one of the bedrooms would have kitchenettes.

A shared kitchen/dining space would be on the ground floor.

The chimney breast would be demolished and new staircases built to each floor.

The property is nearby to the town’s Wetherspoons and Arnold Market Place.

It was formerly used as a family home.
