Tonight at The Den, it’s the Lions versus the Tigers as Millwall host Hull in a decisive Championship play-off semi final second leg, with a place at Wembley on the line.
League positions count for little now, with the play-offs offering both sides a final shot at promotion despite Millwall finishing 10 points ahead of The Tigers.
Neither team could break the stalemate in the first leg last Friday, when a disallowed Millwall goal was the most eventful moment of the game.
The Lions’ journey to the top six has been built on defensive resilience and a strong home record, missing out on automatic promotion by just two points.
Hull meanwhile surged into the play-offs on the back of a strong run of form, a far cry from this time a year ago when they finished the 24/25 season fighting to avoid relegation.
Both teams will be looking to bring far more attacking momentum tonight, after a first leg where neither side ever truly seized control in the final third.
